In celebration of Simone Rocha’s 10 year anniversary, Dover Street Market will present an immersive installation on the Ground Floor alongside a series of special displays and exclusive items. The installation arrives Thursday 16th September at DSM London and will then travel to other Dover Street Market locations in Los Angeles, Ginza and Singapore.
The installation will feature elements from Simone Rocha’s previous signature installations with Dover Street Market. From the first “Living Lane”, inspired by her childhood home in Ireland, to her “Flowers and Cars”, which encompassed Simone’s relationship between nature and man made. For this special collaboration she wanted to reflect on her past but also the present and future, enlisting Janina Pedan to create a perspex and steel structure covered in stained glass vinyls from the AW21 show, featuring a mix of signature and archive pieces from the past decade within the structure.
Simone Rocha and Luncheon Magazine have collaborated on a limited edition run of 10 unique tablecloths made from archive Simone Rocha fabrics, including embroidered cherub, daisy broderie anglaise and red embroidered Delft plate. The tablecloths have been photographed exclusively for Dover Street Market by iconic photographer Tessa Traeger.
