Rose Bakery – Info
Our ethos at Rose Bakery is to focus on amazing organic ingredients, completely in sync with the British seasons, and so produce simple delicious food that bridges the gap between home-cooking & restaurant cuisine. Everything at Rose Bakery is made from scratch, from our cultured butter to our sodas, jams, and hand-rolled pasta.

Our organic vegetables are sourced by Langridge Organics, which supplies us with all British small-farm organic produces. Our fish is sourced by Pesky Fish who deal only with Cornish day-boats before sending that day's fish up to us via train & bicycle so its as eco-friendly as possible. All our pasta is hand-made using Haresfield eggs which are from pasture-fed and free-range hens. We source our apples and pears from family run Chegworth farm in Kent. All our cheeses are British small-batch cheeses, and we make some of our soft cheeses like ricotta or curds in-house using Daylesford Organic un-homogenized milk. Our sourdough loaves are made fresh every day using organic British flour and we churn our butter from cultured Longley Farm cream.
Rose Bakery is famous for its beautiful cake counter, always filled with an assortment of freshly baked cakes, biscuits & tarts. Our carrot cake has cult status, and has been a firm fixture since we first opened on Dover Street. Also frequently appearing are our pistachio cake and our scones which are made with fresh home-made buttermilk and fruit. We believe in whole-fruit & heritage grain baking and our counter reflects that respect to produce.
