Max Richter 01 by Comme des Garçons Parfums arrives Thursday 11th September at Dover Street Market.

Created in collaboration between composer Max Richter and Comme des Garçons Parfums, the fragrance invites wearers to explore scent as a medium for memory. Notes of Graphite, Vetiver, Piano Soundboard Cedar, Violin Bow Rosin, Transistor and Magnetic Tape draw on materials closely tied to Richter’s life and work.

The collaboration grew out of creative dialogue between Richter, his partner, artist Yulia Mahr, and Adrian Joffe, President of Comme des Garçons Parfums. Packaging features original artwork by Mahr from her series "The Church Of Our Becoming," with design led by Zak Kyes.
