Matières Fécales SS26

Matières Fécales has arrived at Dover Street Market for the SS26 season with a brand new dedicated space on the First Floor.

Founded by Hannah Rose and Steven Raj, the Paris-based label blends refined glamour with radical self-expression. Their work challenges the codes of luxury without completely rejecting them, placing craftsmanship, silhouette and meaning at the centre of everything they do.

Created as a love letter to Hannah, the SS26 collection takes inspiration from her second name, Rose, which the pair have always seen as a symbol of the cycle of life and death. The show opens with sculpted Madame Rose pink tailoring looks, creating an armour-like sharpness and enhancing the curves of the body. The finale looks are a fantasy line-up of haute couture ball gowns, depicting the story of a dying rose and exploring the duo’s obsession with finding beauty in ugliness and ugliness in beauty.
