IDEA: “Indisposable”
IDEA: “Indisposable” special display arrives Thursday 10th October at Dover Street Market in support of Save the Children.
Dover Street Market launch IDEA’s exclusive collection of disposable cameras. Each camera has been pre-shot by renowned photographers and artists, with the images remaining unexposed. These one-of-a-kind cameras will be sold as is, offering a rare opportunity to own a piece of art that remains a mystery until developed.
The Cameras are £500 each and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Save the Children. As part of the purchase, the buyer will sign a legal document that restricts them from monetising or publicly sharing the photographs should they choose to develop the film. The spirit of this agreement reinforces the concept of exclusivity and ensures that the images remain personal and private. If a buyer decides to develop the film, the photographs must not be published in any form, including print or social media, and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
Artists and photographers include: Nadia Lee Cohen, Harley Weir, Honey Dijon, Kim Jones, Beck, Angela Hill, Jeremy Deller, Martin Parr, Steven Klein and Petra Collins.
This “Indisposable” project by IDEA offers a rare blend of art and mystery, with all proceeds supporting Save the Children's efforts around the world.
