James Merry jewellery has arrived with a special display at the DSM Jewellery Space.⁠

A visual artist originally from the UK and now based in Iceland, James Merry is renowned for his intricate hand embroidery and mask-making. His collaborations include iconic names such as Björk, Tim Walker, Tilda Swinton, and Iris Van Herpen, as well as prestigious institutions like the V&A. This collection marks his debut into the world of jewellery design. The rings, cast at Pangolin Editions in Gloucestershire—Merry’s hometown—and are inspired by the Ophrys genus of orchids, which mimic the form and scent of insects. This blend of anatomical and botanical elements reflects the organic, nature-inspired themes central to his work.
