JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role:

As a lead within the digital team you will be responsible for driving a talented cross-functional team in providing best in class e-Commerce and Digital Marketing to deliver business growth for Dover Street Market. This is an ideal role for an individual with proven experience in online retail to play a pivotal role in the delivery of an ambitious digital growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing a cross-functional team and partner network to lead all aspects of the eCommerce business, including: business planning and trade, onsite optimisation, managing workflows, content development, customer service, warehousing, web analytics and web technologies
  • Manage effectively a team responsible for the planning and execution of content across the all 6 global websites and key digital campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all content publishing
  • Work on developing, implementing and enhancing the global e-commerce & digital marketing strategy and implementation
  • Drive revenue and customer acquisition via traditional performance marketing channels
  • Monitor site and channel performances and propose continuous ways to further improve and optimise
  • Work effectively with third party partners and agencies
  • Ensure best in class digital campaigns increasing customer engagement online and creating customer centric multi-channel experience for the brand
  • Managing, motivating and coaching a team ensuring the team is aligned to overall objectives and is able to motivate team in a highly pressurised environment
  • Able to help team prioritise an often-challenging workload in order to maintain a balance between excellent delivery and team wellbeing
  • Actively identifies opportunities for efficiency and process improvement across all digital channels and eCommerce functions
  • Keeps abreast of industry developments and translates this knowledge into strategic guidance for Dover Street Market
  • Constantly tasked with balancing domestic requirements with global objectives
  • Manage the monthly/annual sales and business reports providing detailed analysis on key business metrics including site performance, conversion rates, sales by product and all digital channels

 Requirements:

  • Willing to work hard, be proactive and work within stringent deadlines in order to drive the business forward
  • Ability to identify required site updates to improve site performance and drive sales
  • Analytical and always focused on delivering strong commercial outcomes
  • Ability to manage a large workload with the ability to deliver under pressure and prioritise
  • Cross channel Digital Marketing experience, SEM and EMAIL in particular
  • Experienced and well round digital leader with a broad understanding of cross functional e-commerce and digital (+ 5 years)
  • Proven ability recruiting, building and nurturing a positive team and work environment
  • Commercially astute professional with a strong understanding of our products and the competitive E-Commerce market
